Colonial School Teacher Presentation In-Person

Learn about Colonial History, with Colonial School Teacher performed by Ryan Daniels. He will relay interesting things about the period of the American Revolution.  See what it was like for children during that time. There will be hands-on activities, including trying quill pens and making a hornbook. For ages 5 - 12. No registration necessary. Held in honor of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. The first 25 youth to arrive will be admitted  -  tickets for free admission will be given out starting 30 minutes before the presentation. Held in Logan Auditorium.

Part of the Childrens Summer Reading Program of Thayer Public Library. Statewide summer reading programs are supported by the Massachusetts Library System, the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and the Boston Bruins, with funding from the Institute of Museums and Library Services. The Thayer Public Library Summer Reading Program is additionally supported by local sponsors: Starland Sportsplex (Hanover), and Altitude Trampoline Park (Avon).
