Local Author Book Fair In-Person

The TPL Writers Group presents the second annual Local Author Book Fair at Thayer Public Library on Saturday, Dec. 7, 10:30-12:00.

Stop in for complimentary hot cider and to chat with local authors from Braintree and other area towns. Shop for holiday gifts at the library, and support our local authors! 10% of proceeds to benefit The Friends of Thayer Public Library.

Tracy Baker
Tracy Baker grew up, and still resides in Boston. Her career has been spent working in hospital settings, and in addition, she started her own business training lay-people in CPR & First Aid. She is the first-time author of My Unveiling.

Deborah Blanchard
Deborah H. Blanchard served for more than three decades as assistant director of the Adoption Connection, which aided families separated by adoption. While there, she developed relationships that led to Part 11 of Love Never Leaves, "In Their Own Words".

Stephanie Bunting
Stephanie Bunting is a 34-year-old self-published author and illustrator. As well as a Braintree resident and mom to a wonderfully energetic toddler named Summer.

Nick Bythrow
Nick Bythrow is a speculative fiction author, poet, and journalist who has published seven books since 2020. He is currently a Senior Reporter at the entertainment news website Screen Rant, as well as Project Manager for international research initiative Security in Context.

Paul Clerici
Paul Clerici is a bestselling author, public speaker, and frequent guest on television and radio, whose books include Images of Modern America: Boston MarathonA History of the Falmouth Road RaceBorn to Coach: The Story of Bill SquiresBoston Marathon Traditions and Lore, among others.

Rich Feitelberg
Rich Feitelberg is a fantasy author, poet, and avid map collector. He believes all books benefit from a map and grew up on a steady diet of comic book, science fiction and fairytales of all kinds. Rich has been weaving his own tales since elementary school and has been writing poetry since college.

Bill Fleming
Bill Fleming is a retired police officer who is a member of Public Safety Writers Association, the Mystery Writers of New England and the National Writers Union. His Code Black series of novels feature veteran MBTA cop Morris Fitzgerald.

Katie Hallahan
Katie Hallahan is a fantasy author who loves tabletop RPGs, vampire TV shows, corgis, dabbling in nail art, and pumpkin spice everything. Content strategist by day, she has also designed award-winning narrative adventure games at Phoenix Online Studios, an indie game studio she co-founded.

Kathleen Jeffrey
Kathleen Jeffrey holds a BA in Elementary Ed/Psychology. After a 28-year media sales career, she enjoyed a 12-year indie bookstore adventure at Glastonbury Abbey Bookstore in Hingham. She is now writing children's picture books to fulfill her vision to bring "Light, Love, Spirit, Truth, Joy," to little ones’ hearts!

Caroline Kautsire
Caroline Kautsire is originally from Malawi, Africa, and now lives in Weymouth, Massachusetts. She is an English professor at Bunker Hill Community College and the author of the books, What Kind of Girl? and Some Kind of Girl. She is a mentor at Brown University for the Women’s Launch Pad program, and a keynote speaker in Boston.

Carolyn Killian
After a career change, Carolyn Killian wrote and published the Bea Beluga book series with four individual stories for children, centered on the beluga whale’s curiosity and adventures, with themes including the importance of friendship, kindness, compassion, and helping others.

Peggy Kornegger
Peggy Kornegger is the author of Living with Spirit (2009), Lose Your Mind, Open Your Heart (2014), Inside the Rainbow (2021), and Breast Cancer & Beyond (2024). Her blog can be read at www.spirit-flower.com.

Neil Liebowitz
Neil Liebowitz is a psychiatrist who retired after 40 years of practice. He attempts to bring to life issues of behavior and mental illness with compassion and enlightenment with hopes of enriching everyone's life.

C.L. Manning
